Savasaurus Club
DuTrac Community Credit Union offers the Savasaurus Club to all young members age 12 and under. It is packed with fun and exciting things to do, plus Club members learn about the value of saving their money as well as learning about the credit union philosophy of "people helping people." Club members receive a membership kit that includes:
- All kinds of fun and useful learning materials supporting financial literacy goals,
- Their own membership card
- Access to an informative and fun website (currently under re-construction with launch date September 1), and,
- A special "Savasaurus Club" coin bank.
To encourage participation and good savings habits, Club members earn "Savasaurus Club Points" for each deposit and withdrawal. They can also earn extra "points" by participating in special projects such as food, blanket, clothing or school supply drives that help people in need. Points can be redeemed for a wide selection of official Savasaurus Club items including:
- Medium Pizza & Pitcher of Pop (pizza place varies per location)
for 100 points - Movie Pass (movie theatre varies per location) for 75 points
- Savasaurus Duffel Bag for 50 points
- Savasaurus Lunch Bag for 40 points
- Savasaurus T-shirt for 30 points
- Savasaurus Sun Glasses for 25 points
- Savasaurus Water Bottle for 20 points
- Savasaurus Coin Pouch for 15 points
- Savasaurus Pencil Bag for 10 points
- Savasaurus Eraser for 5 points
- Savasaurus Pencil for 2 points
Once an official Savasaurus Club member, your young person will also enjoy their own "DinoTracks" section in the Credit Union's quarterly newsletter. With the DinoTracks section, Club members and their parents will find current information about up-coming Savasaurus projects, event information, and educational articles.

- Create an educational environment for DuTrac's younger members.

As a Savasaurus Club Member, your child's whole family can enjoy taking part in our club activities, games and special events. Some of these include: roller skating and swimming parties, movie nights, and bowling events. There are even a few surprises throughout the year to increase your family’s fun. We also have food drives, and collect school supplies, toys, and clothing for those less fortunate. New members 12 and under can stop by any DuTrac Community location and sign up. Savasaurus Club membership is fun and it's free!
